Want SBSC but resources are tight? Do you Live in Canberra?

Today I went to the .DotNet User Group here in Canberra well OK you caught me I went to Civic for a Beer with Athena (she runs the group) anyway to get to the point. After the meeting I walked to my car with a quick stop off at BookWare a Tech Book Store in Mort St and to my surprise they have 30-70% off, their landlord is not renewing any leases in their building so next week is their last week until they find a suitable new location.

What does this have to do with being an SBSC? well I found 6 copies of the following books:

  • Small Business Server 2003 Best Practices
  • Advanced Windows Small Business Server 2003 Best Practices
  • Microsoft Small Business Specialist Primer & 70-282 Exam Preparation Guide!
  • The Network Documentation Workbook: A Guide for Windows Administrators (Consultant's Edition)

So whay am I excited? The Books are $19.95 Each

So If you use one Book to Pass the Exam, The SBS Books to build your SBS Servers like many SBS Consultants do, AND Document what you did then I think you will be well on your way.

Now if you don't live in Canberra and can wait for the books to get to you, I could be convinced to go buy a set on your behalf.
