So reading Vladville today and noticed a link to Dave Overton's blog which sends you to his real blog URL. So I clicked on www.mswhore.com and OpenDNS rejects my request because it is PORN, so here lies the problem we are using OpenDNS because it is a speedy free service that fits as one of the layers in our security.
It is clear to me that the URLs are checked for key words and rejected before checking so I needed to add the site to my white list obviously trusting Vlad a little too much in order to see where www.mswhore.com would take me. OK so I don't trust Vlad blindly, I have a Virtual Machine outside my corporate firewall (for surfing porn, astalavista, running uTorrent etc) and it has different DNS settings so all good.
Now off to see if someone has registered www.ownwhore.com oh bugger gone, wait is that porn?
Does Vlad own this domain? No he doesn't but OpenDNS let it through so much for my URL Keyword Scanning theory.
Do you ever click on the send error to MS button?
Turns out hacker tool writers click the button REGULARLY. WTF??????
So that and Live Search MS get some very cool intel on attacks. I think is kind of cool.

Today I came out to the Canberra Heroes Happen Launch. The event has been a sellout for weeks and as you can see numbers in line with the Security Summit of a few years ago.
Messaging is about Secure and Trusted, Infrastructure Optimisation and of course Virtualization: Hyper-V and Softgrid.
